Hello folks!
This past weekend me and Zorro were on our very first official Agility competition. It was a lot of fun even though we got disqualified both of the days. But Zorro did very well all the time, I was the one who messed it up. First time I ran into a jumping obstacle and ruined our run by not getting up fast enough and by that Zorro took his own decisions and got into the wrong end of the tunnel in front os us. The second time I was too fast to move away without being totally certain that I had Zorro with me, which caused him to run into a tunnel (yepp, again with the tunnels) that he wasn't supposed to run to and we got DQ. And I admitt it feels shitty, but hey, at least I got more experience of competing and I also know now what to practise on until next competition, whenever that will be. Probably in summer since there's no time, money or even any competitions on this island until then. But we're gonna focus on something else until easter holidays. The game tracking tests are coming up in the end of April so we need to practise for those. Also I'm going to have a lot to do in school so maybe we just practise fetching and game tracking for a while now and take a jog every now and then.
That's pretty much it for today. I'm gonna try to get the videos up from the past weekends competition, but I dunno when I'll get them so keep your eyes open!
